We appreciate that there is more to life than just work. We are committed to advancing the working conditions and making the lives of workers better.

LiUNA Local 92 has been proud to be able to support community organizations that provide vital emergency medical services and resources.

Community support has included supporting various food banks and homeless shelters that provide those suffering from financial hardships and food insecurity a place to find some assistance.

"Household food insecurity is the inadequate or insecure access to food due to financial constraints. It is a serious problem in Canada that negatively impacts physical, mental, and social health, and costs our healthcare system considerably.

Sadly, 1 in 8 households in Canada is food insecure, amounting to over 4 million Canadians, including 1.15 million children, living in homes that struggle to put food on the table." - PROOF Food Insecurity Research
